Privacy Policy

Last updated 05 Aug 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pet OS collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. We are committed to handling your and your pet's data responsibly.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information

3. What clinics can see

When you book an appointment with a clinic, that clinic can view the relevant pet's record (profile, health summary, documents, and visit history) to provide care. A clinic can only see pets that have booked with it. Clinics cannot see your data unless you book with them.

4. Document storage

Medical documents you upload are stored privately and served only to you (and, where applicable, to a clinic you have booked with). They are not publicly accessible.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only: (a) with clinics you choose to interact with; (b) with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting and email delivery) under appropriate safeguards; or (c) where required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your personal data and your pets' records, subject to any retention required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted password storage, access controls, private file storage, and secure connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information through your account, or by contacting us. You may also opt out of non-essential communications.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.

11. Contact
