Welcome to Pet OS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pet OS website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Pet OS is a digital platform that helps pet parents store pet health records, set reminders, find and book appointments with veterinary clinics, and view prescriptions issued by clinics. The Service is currently offered in India.

2. Not a substitute for veterinary care

Pet OS is an organisational and record-keeping tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the Service is not a substitute for professional examination by a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately. You are solely responsible for decisions about your pet's health.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

4. Clinics on Pet OS

Veterinary clinics listed in the directory are independent third parties. A clinic listing must be approved by our team before it becomes visible, but we do not guarantee the quality, credentials, or availability of any clinic. Any consultation, treatment, prescription, or fee is a matter strictly between you and the clinic.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the Service.
• Do not use the Service to provide veterinary advice unless you are a licensed professional acting through an approved clinic account.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the records, documents, and information you upload. You grant Pet OS a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the Service running reliably but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pet OS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on information in the Service or from interactions with clinics.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
